Was he a Templar?

Postby SIr Albaugh » Fri Nov 06, 2009 1:23 pm

I have looked for the books mentioned in the earlier posts and hve not been able to find them. If anyone could tell me if there were any Knights with the last names either Alba or Albaugh i would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome Sir Albaugh!

I found names that are similar, but not quite Alba or Albaugh.
The names I found are Albaix, Albars, Albio, Albon, Alboin, and Albus. All Templars.

Sicard,

Thank you for your help. After a little more research, I found Albus was the Old Latin form of Albanius which was shortened into Alba. Thanks again for helping verify a family lineage.
