"Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot...."

"Nevertheless David took the castle of Zion, which is the city of David...And David dwelt in the castle; therefore they called it the city of David. And he built the city round about, even from Millo round about: and Joab repaired the rest of the city"

"And Jehoshaphat waxed great exceedingly; and he built in Judah castles, and cities of store"

"Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers"

"And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire"

"These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations"

"A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle"

"over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, Jehonathan the son of Uzziah"

"And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the castle. And when he came upon the stairs, so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people". (New Testament)

"And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle". (New Testament)

"On the morrow they left the horsemen to go with him, and returned to the castle" (NT)

"And when Paul's sister's son heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul" (NT)

"The chief captain commanded him to be brought into the castle, and bade that he should be examined by scourging; that he might know wherefore they cried so against him." (NT)

"And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek?" (NT)

Towers:

"Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and fortified them"

"And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong"

"Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof. Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following"

"A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers"

"Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars"

"Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers"

"The men of Arvad with thine army wereupon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about"

"Also he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and another wall without, and repaired Millo in the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance"

Nobles:

-"And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy"

-"Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness!"

-"And he took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the house of the LORD: and they came through the high gate into the king's house, and set the king upon the throne of the kingdom"

-"And I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another"

-"Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers"

-"To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron"

-"And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles"

-"Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem"
